Here's my first attempt at colouring with Adobe Photoshop.. took me about a week of part-time work, with the long-distance tutoring of my brother, to clean my pencil lines and figure out how to create lighting and shadow effects for the skin, suit, and hair. I had to turn the image into a JPEG, and have noticed some slight changes in the smoothness of the blends even at maximum file size and quality, but not so much as to disappoint me.
This is Rooke in Year Five, the short-hair look, after a character changing mishap which I've since gotten used to and embraced. :)
There are definitely other things that could be done to the pic, but that will come later as I gain confidence in the new medium!
